Immunization Programs

Childhood Program:   

·         Immunizations provided for tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, polio, HIB, hepatitis A & B, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, infant pneumococcal disease, rotavirus infant diarrheal disease.

 Adult Program:

·         Influenza and pneumonia clinics (in-home service if necessary)

·         Hepatitis A and B

·         Meningococcal Vaccine for college students.

Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Programs

Family Planning Services

Communicable Disease Follow-up

Tuberculosis Testing and Treatment

School, Worksite and Community Group Consultation

for Education and Screening Programs

FDA Class II Telemonitors for Health & Wellness Screenings

 

Referral Services For:

Substance Abuse

Tobacco use and/or cessation

Visit Quitline for more information on smoking cessation.

Immunization Program:

·         Age-appropriate individuals according to recommended schedules.

 Community Health Programs:

·         All ages and socio-economic groups.

 What is the fee?

Immunization Program:

·         Vaccines provided by Iowa Department of Public Health are free for persons through age 18. Charges for other vaccines will vary according to type received. Donations encouraged for nursing time.

 Community Health Program: 

·         Individual or group rates, varies according to cost of program.

 Donations Encouraged for health and wellness screenings to support continuation of the program.  Funding available through grants from Iowa Department of Public Health and Elderbridge Agency on Aging.
